Initial Conversation
Each commission begins with a conversation about the subject, scale, setting, references, and the character of the work you have in mind.

Proposal and Development
Michelle develops the composition and approach in response to the project. Depending on the commission, this may include reference gathering, studies, sittings, or preliminary sketches. Scope, timeline, and payment terms are confirmed before work begins.

Painting and Completion
The work develops through Michelle’s painting process rather than through a fixed formula. Timing varies according to scale and complexity, and is established individually for each project.
